We will begin taking advanced reservations on May 15 for the summer months! The cabins are booking up on the weekends, but we have loads of availability mid-week. It’s an interesting comparison to last year at this time.

May 4, 2011 was snowing, the lake was frozen solid, there was over 8 feet of snow in the front of the marina store.

May 4, 2012 was windy, but it was about 70 degrees and sunny, the lake is open and the first boats of the year have already been on the lake and the fishing has been great.

Wow, I am so grateful that the weather is warm and that we will be open for the summer season before Memorial Day. We will have 4 new 2012 pontoon boats and a new 2012 Mastercraft X-15 for our wakesport boat. It will be a great summer, keep checking back for more updates….

Steamboat Lake Sprint Triathlon

Steamboat Lake hosted the first annual Steamboat Lake Sprint Triathlon. It was a huge success, with over 300 triathletes competing at 8200 feet above sea level! The race was one of the most beautiful courses in the country, according to almost all the participants.
